This magnificent Art Nouveau vase with The precisely fitting glass insert from WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik) is an outstanding example of decorative metal art about 1900. The body made of silver-plated brass shows a filigree decoration of curved volutes and stylized floral elements that are typical of the Art Nouveau design language. The removable insert made of clear glass with its wave-shaped forged edge follows the lines of the mount exactly.
