A stunning and unusual cast sterling silver pair of sugar tongs. Makers mark for Stephen Adams 1st of London they are circa 1770 and they are very fine by a superb maker of cast tongs.. They are in fantastic condition and as far as I can tell have not been repaired in any way which is rare in cast tongs. They are 5 1/4in(13.8cm) long and weigh 1 3/4oz(46g).. Very nice collectors tongs.
