A stunning and unusual cast sterling silver pair of sugar tongs. Makers mark for Stephen Adams 1st of London they are circa 1770 and they are very fine by a superb maker of cast tongs.. They are in fantastic condition and as far as I can tell have not been repaired which is rare in cast tongs. They are 5in(13.3cm) long and weigh 1 3/8oz(41g).. Very nice collectors tongs.
