The makers touchmark is missing. There is an Edwardian 'ER 325' for Denbigh County just below the rim and finally it is marked 'IMPERIAL QUART'. This style of jug was made in both the Victorian period, it is difficult to date the jug as the excise marks maybe a later addition than its manufacture, also these marks were only introduced in 1836 and were not always adhered to.
