This is a lovely vintage oak ladder back chair with a traditional rush seat and solid wooden frame. A simple, honest piece with a classic farmhouse look, suitable for use in a kitchen, bedroom, hallway or as an occasional chair. Structurally solid and usable, the rush seat shows wear and age-related colouration but remains intact and functional. There is a visible split to the front rail (see photos). This does not affect overall stability. As you would expect, it has general age-related wear including marks, scuffs and surface wear throughout but overall is a usable vintage chair with great character.
