this is a rather lovely thing. it weighs 252 grams on the scales. after numerous searches i have found out that it might well be a fountain pen holder, or maybe simply an ornament. believed to be made from pewter its fairly heavy and quite tactile. certainly hard to find so a nice thing to own. thanks for looking
