An opportunity to purchase a Stunning Rare 18th Century Georgian Period Nut Crackers Still Functional Some context with this metal detecting find… This object was found on the site of an old house sited in the middle of a village next to the church. The building supposedly dated back to late 1600s but was removed during the mid 1800s yet no one seems to know why. Made of brass. Hinge is still fully functional but I’d recommend NOT using them to crack ‘nuts’. I’m not sure how the central pin would hold out :) Any question just ask!
