A Shipwrights Trunk, would have been carried onto the sail ships of old for carpenters to maintain the ship. Its a grand old fella heavy with dove tail strong joints pitch pine wood. Full of dings marks characters from the years its been around. Each side has a rope handle. inside three of the draws are no longer present lost to farther time. There is no longer any lock and key to keep tea leaves out. of it. The lid will self support itself when lifted. please see all pictures I have given it a Briwax. which has brought out a shine and great patena on it.
