This pair of panels is from France and dates to the early 1800’s. These were once panels on a French cabinet. They are made from solid oak and are finished to a warm dark color. The carvings are very well done and very intricate. Overall they are in excellent condition with only minor nicks and scratches. Both panels have a lot of woodworm damage throughout (see photos). There is also a large repair to a crack in one of the panels and a large missing chip at the bottom of the other panel (see photos). Dimensions for each: 13.5" wide, 5.5" tall and .75" deep.
