The recto is enriched with marginal figural illumination depicting two haloed male saints, one standing in a gesture of address or invocation and the other kneeling in prayer. The figures are rendered in a simplified, linear manner with restrained modeling and flat color application, accompanied by vine-scroll ornament in green and red pigments. The halos appear executed in yellow pigment rather than raised or burnished gold leaf, consistent with more economical workshop practices of the early modern period. The verso features a large red initial O with penwork infill, marking the opening of a liturgical phrase. Together, the decorative program reflects a functional yet visually engaging approach typical of later choir book production, rather than the more elaborate and materially rich ill.
