Made by Richards & Hartley in the 1880's, this is a Lion & Cable aka Tiny Lions low covered compote. It features a tiny lion as the finial of the lid. The piece measures 7" to the top of the finial and 7 1/2" across the handles. It is in very good condition, but there are a few small chips as shown.
