Beautiful antique silver plated box with piano hinge that was made in England. It has an oil slick look due to patina and loss of silver plating. Copper showing through on details but it lends more depth and color to the item. Gorgeous and interesting piece for decoration or trinkets. Hinge has some warping but closes fine. Inside is bright silver color minimal tarnish no wear that I can see. Guessing it was closed up most of its life. Measurements in photos.
