An antique Welsh wrought iron rushlight. This rushlight of very rare wall spike form. Fabulous hand forged finish, featuring carefully created nip jaws with a primitive trumpet candle holder counter weight. Completely untouched and in fine original condition. Locally sourced here in Mid Wales. I cannot emphasise how uncommon these items now are….especially in this wall spike form. Certainly a rather academic piece for the true collector of early lighting.
