A rare wrought iron bull ring, probably 19th century. Used for leading a bull or other large animal by the nose, this ring unclips as shown in the photographs. Complete and in full working order (although I have not tested it on any bulls!), this is a beautiful and superbly crafted piece of metalwork, and a wonderful object in its own right. 19cm long.
