Up for sale is a beautiful antique Maltese silver souvenir coin spoon, featuring a genuine 1757 silver 15 Tari coin from the reign of Grand Master Emmanuel Pinto de Fonseca. The obverse side of the coin forms the bowl of the spoon, clearly displaying the crowned arms of Grand Master Pinto flanked by eagles. The reverse side shows the traditional depiction of Saint John the Baptist holding a banner. The spoon features a hand-soldered, elegant twisted stem decorated with a fleur-de-lis accent at the base and a distinct Maltese Cross finial at the top. Condition: Good antique condition with age-appropriate patina. The details on the 1757 coin remain remarkably clear. No visible damage or deep bends to the twisted stem.
