This delightful sprung coin holder is stamped JW/B in a crest (although the B is missing in this example due to space) and very likely made by George William Betjemann of George Betjemann and Sons, a London-based manufacturer known for high-quality silver, particularly mounted dressing boxes, cases, and stationery. This is a beautiful example dated circa 1900. All the springs work and it’s a fantastic addition to any UK coin collectors collection.
