Lovely late 18th century English Georgian handpainted pottery tea caddy. Charming hand painted naive chinoiserie decoration. Glazed and painted in blue against a pearlware ground. Classic early English chinoiserie antique. Condition good for age as Seen. The tea caddy no longer has a lid. There are some marks and fritting along the rim/ neck. There is crazing throughout the body, and some marks and wear. There are some small chips on the base. Please see photos Overall, this is highly decorative and a genuine early piece.
