A Victorian cast iron A. Kenrick & Sons fire bar trivet. It would have been attached to a parlour fireside or fender for heating a kettle or pot. The pattern number is No 13. It will not lay flat on a surface so is NOT suitable as the sort of trivet used on a kitchen counter for pots and pans unless it is adapted by screwing to a wooden base for example.
