An authentic, late-Victorian 2 lb cast iron dumbbell made by the premier British foundry Archibald Kenrick & Sons (A.K. & Sons) of West Bromwich. This model features decorative fluted ends stamped with the maker's mark "A.K. & SONS", the "2 LB" weight, and the original British Registered Design number "Rd 19150" (which dates the design patent precisely to 1884). It also retains its textured handle grip. Displays a wonderful natural aged patina and authentic antique wear—an excellent find for collectors of Victorian hardware, antique gym equipment, or British industrial history. Please note tiny paint spots, I have removed the bulk of these with water and a brush but didn’t want to use anything harsh.
