It consists of 8 double-sided Palmyra palm leaves (16 panels) securely held between two original decorated wood covers. This piece is a living artifact. It featuresauthentic indigenous/monastic repairs —visible black hand-stitching used to reinforce the brittle palm fibers along the horizontal grain.
