A set of 2 attached leaves from a handwritten damaged partial Koran I purchased years ago from Turkey. These are written on handmade Laid paper. The language is Quranic Arabic. The verses are framed in gold leaf. Some staining from age and there is breakage on the gold borders. Because of the gold leaf the borders become brittle over time and many examples have broken areas in the page frame. Each leaf measures 6 3/4" x 4 3/8". 15 lines per page. Will sell Worldwide except to Russia.
