19th Century Warwick Vase. The ormolu vase well cast, with a beaded inner rim, surrounding the egg and dart down curved edge. The body of the vase with a band of vine leaves and grapes above eight well detailed masks on the theme of Bacchus, amongst lion skin. the vase sweeping into a ring socle, and thence spreading downward and outward, in a fluted circular foot ❌finishing on its rarely surviving marble base❌ The sides of the vase mounted with a pair of handles in the form of entwined vine stalks.
