Robinson of England As makers and restorers of fine upholstered furniture, we build new bespoke pieces at various levels and carry approximately 330 pieces in stock. These pieces cover both 19th and 20th centuries. This Howard and Sons 19thC Chesterfield sofa has been meticulously restored by ourselves and finished in our hand dyed Wimbledon Green leathers. After no less than six weeks of restoration the piece is now complete and on display in our Newcastle showroom. It is horse tail filled and fully hammer & tacked (no staples have been used) throughout the whole build. It also retains all original springs. A very generous piece with a 25” seat depth and 39” overall depth. A grand presence at 86” long.
