An early version of the quintessential English armchair. If you’re looking at this listing you already know about these chairs, but this is one of the early versions (Victorian) with turned front legs, no seat cushion and stamped rear leg. Recently recovered in calico. Condition is consistent with age. You can see two imperfections (which I have circled in the images). There is a small, inconsequential chip/crack on the block at the top of the front right leg, and the centre of one of the wheels is enlarged. Seat height 31cm
