This is a stunning beaten copper and mahogany Arts and Crafts period very large tray. We have attributed this piece to the Keswick maker William Mawson. It has fantastic repousse stylised floral decoration to the whole tray. The quality of the woodwork is second to none. It is both decorative and functional. It is unmarked. It is in good condition for its age. There is a split to the reverse of the wood as seen in the images due to change in temperature. Also one small glued split. All seen in the . It has been used but displays really well. It measures 63.5cm long, 36.5 cm wide and 5cm tall.
