Vintage XL tapestry/wall hanging showing different pastoral scenes of lovers, cherubs, a young goat-herd and animals. Soft, subtle pastel shades of blues, browns, pinks. Bought in New York 30+ years ago. No label so no idea what the actual fabric is - it feels more like cotton than wool. Lightweight - I just folded it up and put it in my suitcase to get it home - with a cream corded edge. I had a wooden frame made for it (the top and bottom of the frame are shown in some of the photos) but the wood is NOT included in the sale. There are 7 corded loops stitched at equal space along the top to hang from a wooden/metal pole. Excellent condition, no stains or tears. Size 38 x 98 inches.
