The top side is nicely stenciled “JRC MANNERS”, and marked inside, JRC is believed Lord John Robert Cecil Manners, 5th Baron Manners. Internally on the canvas lining is hand written, "Selena Manners" - Selena Mary Manners” appeared as a “girl in pearls” in Country Life, 6 June 1974.
