Beautiful mid-century French Provincial style footstool/ottoman dates to circa 1935–1955. It features an ornate, hand-carved wood apron and classic cabriole legs. The top is upholstered in a burnt-orange patterned tapestry fabric accented with decorative nailhead trim. ***PLEASE NOTE- a few of the upholstery nails are missing *** The underside maintains excellent historical provenance, retaining its original Upholsterers' International Union of North America (UIU) paper stamp affixed to the solid wood factory base. Made in the USA!!! Good vintage condition with minor wear to the wood finish and fabric consistent with age. Structural base is solid. Thanks so much for taking a look!
