This is a vintage/antique rosewood? bog oak? box with a sterling inlay design, and hinge. The air in my house is very dry so this doesn't currently close snugly, during the summer it does. This is marked with an inlayed circle on the bottom that says sterling, otherwise this is unmarked with no maker's mark.
