Original vintage HMS St David Royal Navy ship cast metal (aluminium?) badge, plaque or crest, featuring the Welsh red dragon. The badge is in good condition but would benefit from a clean as has been hung on a wall for many years, there are some area of paint loss as per pictures. The St David was a minesweeper, launched as Crichton 1953 and later Clyde 1954-1961 but bore the name St David from 1961 to 1976 when it again became Crichton. Measures 6.5" in length.
