This is a genuine hand-hammered copper bowl, created as a student project in a school metalwork lesson over 40 years ago. It features a beautiful, untouched "time capsule" patina with deep oxidation and vibrant green verdigris. Hand-sunk and planished copper with visible hammer marks. The original copper base is missing, but the silvery solder ring remains on the bottom. The interior has heavy green oxidation. Sold strictly for decorative use or as a collector's item (not food safe due to unlined copper and oxidation). A wonderful example of mid-century industrial arts education and a unique rustic decor piece. Smoke and pet free home. Used. Sold as seen.
