VINTAGE FRANCIS MARINE 7 INCH CHROME SEARCHLIGHT NEEDS REWIRING

When I bought the searchlight it had a three pin plug and twin flex wiring. I plugged it into the mains and it worked. I have included a photograph of it working alongside a note saying I have cut off the majority of the twin flex and the plug.
