This vintage elm bookcase is finished in a colour very similar to Ercol's Golden Dawn. Genuine pieces of elm furniture are far and few between but many one-off pieces were reportedly made at the Ercol factory for specific buyer requirements, or to use up otherwise wasted offcuts, so quite possibly this is an uncatalogued custom piece. It measures 28" wide, 8.5" deep and 26" high. The shelf heights are a fraction under 9", 8" and approx 7.25".
