An attractive shaped rectangular serving basket, raised on four little ball feet and finished with pierced floral decoration at each corner. The movable swing handle can be raised for carrying or folded down alongside the basket. A lovely piece of vintage tableware for displaying bread, cakes, wrapped sweets, fruit or decorative items—particularly pretty when lined with a folded linen napkin. Marked EP – crown – NS and Made in England, denoting electroplated nickel silver. No separate maker’s mark has been identified.
