Vintage Delft plate made in Holland set into a German Freiling Zinn Angel marked solid metal surround for hanging, featuring a handworked copy of the original painting of Saskia wife of Rembrandt by him in 1651 The plate has the firing marks of the feet it would have been sat on in the kiln and has crazing and surface cracking showing age. There are four hanging holes pressed into the plate rear. Part of a larger collection of Rembrandt paintings depicted on porcelain Plate marked Delft Holland with the crown.
