Solid Walnut & Cedar "Footstool". Legs are cedar and through tendoned on the top and the feet are 1 1/4 thick.Splines are ebony. I can plop my 260 lbs on it with nary a quiver. Stool is tall enough to sit on easily and get up without hurting the knees.
