Vintage brass maritime themed badge or medallion featuring a life buoy design with rope decoration and central anchor motif. The badge reads “THE LIFE BOYS” with the nautical motto “HOLD FAST”. Finished in brass tone metal with good raised detail. Likely dating to the mid-20th century and possibly associated with a nautical club, lifeboat group or maritime organisation. The reverse has a wire loop attachment which may have been used for hanging or mounting. Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related wear and some loss to the finish on the back.
