Bought locally some time ago from a lady who said it belonged to her father, who illustrated for Dorling Kindersley. It was filled with vintage art materials (I kept those, sorry). I can’t recall his name now either, so a bit of a useless story in some respects, but it’s a nice bit of background history ???? The piece of leather securing the handle was broken when I got it, but both locks work and have keys. Really decent and genuine piece.
