Handmade children ’ Captain ’ Windsor chair genuine vintage/ antique piece - not sure how old it is, hoop back raised on turned legs with spindle gallery back and shaped arm rests, hand carved wood - possibly oak, it looks like two front trellis has been replaced with different type of wood. The chair is old and used, has a lot of character, also some repaired damages ( splits in wood, broken leg supports in two places, cut in the arm, and some worn offs, marks and scratches related to it’s age and use). The chair is strong and solid but it has some sharp edges where the wood split on the seat needs smoothing to use for a child, as it is now would be perfect for dolls and teddies display.
