Vintage 1890's solid sterling silver Whiting flatware item. The Baroque and Rococo-style Louis XV design teaspoon is marked "Sterling, Pat. 1891" with the company logo hallmark of a lion holding a shield with a "W" on the shield. The tea spoon measures 5 3/4" long and weighs about 30 grams. It has great detailed heavy designs on both sides and an engraved double initial monogram as pictured. It shows use wear as pictured.
