The brush screws into the base of the tube for use. All pieces are hallmarked to the tube, the lid and the base of the shaving brush. Solid silver traveling shaving brush with crest. Overall condition is very good with little to no wear to the decoration, no splits, no holes, the screw thread for the brush is in good order, lid has a snug fit, couple of knocks to the lid and one to the brush but nothing serious.
