This curling iron is a rare piece of antique sterling silver, featuring intricate Victorian styling and craftsmanship. Made in the United States during the late 19th century. Used for curling mustache or ringlets. Barrel size is less than 1/4”. Still works, you heat it up on a wood stove. Stamped on the back is - W, lion pic, STERLING, Pat 1893 (last 2 numbers are hard to read), 3905, 925/1000, FINE.
