The case was made in Birmingham by William Neale and dates to between 1887 (when their patent for this item was granted) and around 1900. Here we have an unusual late Victorian Silver Plate Combination Sovereign Holder, Vesta Case and Stamp Holder complete with a miniature Pencil.
