A Victorian mahogany side table or writing table. The rectangular top features a shaped gallery back above two frieze drawers with turned wooden knobs, standing on turned legs. The polished mahogany displays a rich grain, with finely executed leg turning typical of late 19th-century English cabinetmaking. Well suited for use as a console, desk or occasional table. This item is in good antique condition, with slight wear commensurate with age or minor restoration (please see photos for details).
