Victorian Antique Walnut Gout Rocking Footstool Red Fabric

This design of a Victorian period footstool was called a "gout" stool because it cradled painful feet and rocked with a rocking chair. Solid walnut, the original upholstery can be seen below the red fabric. Believed to be French from circa 1890.
