Victor Rousseau (1865–1954), born in the Ardennes region, studied at the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Brussels. Descended from a family of stonemasons, Rousseau began carving at the age of 11. A very beautiful sculpture representing a young lad during harvest, signed by the artist Victor Rousseau.
