Two Antique Liverpool Fan Spindle Back Rush Seated Side Chairs C1790 -1860. Woodworm that has long gone but seems to be a characteristic of these chairs. Someone has put glue on the rush seats and really these do need replacing. The chair on the left is strong the one on the right isn’t bad but the stretcher is slightly loose They have a lovely patina and you can feel where hands over time have held them.
