An excellent three draw brass telescope with a mahogany barrel, signed on the first draw, ‘S. Bithray, Royal Exchange, London’. Measuring 10″ (25 cms) long when closed and 30″ (76.5 cms) fully open. It has main lens of just over 1.5″ (4 cms). Can see image when viewing. But have not adjusted for image Very nice quality 18th century item Stephen Bithray worked from 1826 – 1860.
