A superb novelty silver string holder in the form of a sensor - Birmingham 1906 (no makers hallmark). 92g 10cm high 6cm circular base. Opening mechanism is fine. Upper half has pierced decoration. Hallmarks - lion and date letter external to lid Lion passant, Birmingham, date letter external base. Unusual design - no makers hallmarks or patent/registration number. Find another one. Some very minor surface blemishes if being really picky. Condition consumerate with age and wear
