Origin: Lilihan Size: 4’8x2’7 Circa: 1920 This wonderful little rug woven in Lilihan circa 1920 is a wonderful work of art made by skillful weavers who made every single part of this rug by hand. First sourcing natural vegetable dyes then hand spinning wool sheared from the sheep they owned they then created a foundation to tie knots of naturally dyed wool creating this wonderful work of art. Brilliant floral motifs made of colors derived from flowers, framed by a brilliant and mesmerizing border featuring geometric drawings. This piece is in good condition with one very small area of moth damage pictured, ends and sides are in original condition and the pile is full and healthy.
